Precelly slate quarry, whose workings extend over an area of about 500m north-south by 250m, was first worked 1825, and disused by 1891. The workings of Rosebush Quarry (Nprn309255) lie immediately to the south.

The quarry is shown as disused, but apparently intact on OS County series mapping (Pembroke. XVIII.1 1889).
