DisgrifiadTy'n-yr-Heol Depot is the most complete of any of the depots of the south Wales valley canals. It is located on either side of the canal at lock no 1.
The depot comprises the canal manager's house and stables on the eastern side of the canal, and on the west side a long timber storage shed with sawpit inside and an open shed with block and tackle hoisting gear where lock gates were made. Attached to this is a store and a smithy.
