Dyfyngwm Lead Mine was a potentially lucrative mine with a history of mismanagement in the nineteenth century. The mine was known to be in existence by 1842 and it was uncertain after 1867. It is known that the mine re-opened and yielded a great deal of lead before finally closing in 1935.
The visible remains include adit dressing floors (NPRN 309784), wheel pits, a horse whim circle and extraction features (NPRN 400160). The site has been recorded during aerial reconnaissance by the RCAHMW on AP945030/53-4 and 955039/58-9. NAR SN89SW11
