Cofnod Safle

This building consists of the remnants of a stone-built, 4-bay, rectangular, 2-storey structure, formed of round stone columns to front and square columns to rear. The end columns are full-height, while the others only reach to first-floor, indicating former framed and boarded walls open at ground-floor to south front, where the columns are round. At the east gable-end there is a stone stair to first-floor. A double ditch like depression, lying parallel is shown as an open sided building on the OS 1889 map. The map also indicates in-line buidings at right-angles to the east and a leet from the stream.
