A single-storey, late C18th, stone-built, disused smithy of 3-bays, now with corrugated-roof over collar trusses. The building is situated opposite the ruined St Mary's Church (NPRN 305656) and is part of Fron-Ganol farm. Shown as Smithy on first edition OS map 1888. The site was visited by RCAHMW staff in 2002.
