The farm square at Hurst House dates from 1828 and is to a model farm plan. There is a large square grassed former farmyard reached through segmental voussoired arch in whitewashed rubble wall lining the road and forming a range with a low lean-to building to inner side; there is a similar opening with a dated keystone to the former coach house on the south end; a dovecote to the gable end reached by outside rubble steps to left, and loading platforms to right and further similar outbuildings detached to the north. Later alterations include modern conversion from farm usage.
