Cofnod Safle

These outbuildings form the North range of the former farmyard East of Esclusham Hall. It was probably built as a barn between 1800-1820, and has been little altered since. It is a two storey building of white-washed rubble with a slate roof.There are five bays, with central wide split doors, and flanking single split doors. There are also additional double-doors (probably later insertions) to the left, and a small rectangular window. Inside, there are chamfered king-post trusses of the standard early C19 type, the remains of the threshing floor and the flanking partitions of the storage bays to either side.
