1. 18th century if not earlier, shafts, levels and buildings.
2. Mine complex, mine shafts (SN74516849, SN74556852), spoil tips (SN74536849, SN74466847), linear ditch and possible reservoir (SN74576855). Visable on AP.

3. Re-opened in the 1770'sthe mine operated until 1791, from 1785 with a water pressure, or "pillar" engine. Re-opened once more 1859-1878, with further periods of activity, if not working, into the twentieth century.
Surface remains include traces of two wheelpits - three wheels are recorded here - , level entrances and shaft mouths, extensive tips, with outliers c.450m NW (Nprn300685) and c.250m N (Nprn300686), and the remains of buildings, including a well preserved ore-bin.
Other areas of mining activity recorded under the Fairchance name, Nprn300687 and Nprn300684, would seem to be seperate operations, Llwyn Gwyddel and Cilfach-y-Rhew respectively.
