Disgrifiad
Rhoswydol Lead Mine was apparently worked in the Twelth Century although the most productive periods were in the 1840s and 1880s. The former workings are now partially afforested and include the ruins of a large ore dressing mill, dated 1870, that was powered by a 45 foot (13.715 metres) diameter waterwheel.

The site has remains of ore bins and short stretches of tramroad, while the spoil dumps are landscape features. The 1887 Ordnance Survey County Series map for Montgomeryshire (sheet number XXXIII, 4) shows the workings.
