DisgrifiadLower down the Clydach Valley than Llanelly Furnace (nprn 34029) is the site of the eighteenth-century forge at Llanelly, where the cast iron was converted to wrought iron. The Forge House (National Grid Reference given) was an early tinplate works and little else is visible except the retaining-wall of the water-power pond.
