Spudder's Bridge Aqueduct is a massive aqueduct dating from 1815, carrying the Kidwelly and Llanelli Canal (NPRN 34390) over the Gwendraeth Fawr. A railway was laid over the canal bed in 1869 and this closed in 1965. The aqueduct appears to have been incorporated in the river's flood defences (see NPRN 34713). The structure has six low segmental arches and is largely of coursed freestone with repairs in brick. There appears to have been a small depot on the south bank with at least one limekiln built into the canal embankment (NPRN 40665).
