DisgrifiadLliedi Coal Canal or New Cut, Llanelli, was built in 1839 built to carry coal. It was formed by diverting the lowest part of the Afon Lliedi and stretches 1km from just north of Old Castle Road Bridge (nprn 43106), through the Scouring Dock (nprn 34206) to the Carmarthenshire Dock (nprn 34193).
