DisgrifiadAt Giant's Grave, Briton Ferry, is a small tidal dock, originally used to trans-ship goods between the Neath River Navigation (nprn 91663) and the Neath Canal (nprn 34444).
The area, especially Briton Ferry Dock (nprn 34237), became a centre for ship breaking, especially after the Second World War, and although the dock has closed, ships are still occasionally scrapped at Giant's Grave.
