Lock 13 or Ynysmeudwy Upper Lock 15,690m from Swansea Basin This is also in good condition. There is evidence of two periods of building as opposed to the three shown by Lock 12. The remains of an upper paddle rod and characteristic steps down to the lower gates' balance-beam platform are still visible. Weirs have replaced the gates on both locks.
