DisgrifiadThis building at Boston Lodge became the principal weigh house on the Ffestiniog Railway (nprn 34660), superceding in 1856 that at Minffordd (nprn 34937). It is built of local slatey rubble with quoins, under a slate roof, and has a stone chimney stack on the south. The west side has a small window beneath which are apertures for the counter-balance rods used in weighing the wagons on the line. The building is attached to Boston Lodge locomotive shed (nprn 34929) at the south end.
