1. Probably circa 1850 (formally 2 small cottages).

2. The walls are split shale rubble and a slate roof with brick chimneys. Flat lintels and slate slabs to the windows; all except the pantry are sashes without horns. The interior has been altered during the 19th century by the insertion of the stairs and new partitions. Trusses are exposed: they have low lapped collars, bolted to the principals
