A mediaeval stone barn that in the early 1970s was converted for the artistic activities of UWC Atlantic College. In 1995-97 the centre underwent a £1.2m redevelopment to the designs of Loyn & Co. to create a new arts centre. In this redevelopment, the Victorian block connecting the tythe barn to the 1970s extension was demolished along with an entrance porch. The 1970s wing was retained and a new four-level arts centre structure was built adjacent with an extended gable connecting to the tythe barn.
