Discovered as a cropmark in 1975 from aerial photography. Probably an Iron Age defended farm with a short `antenna' entrance corridor formalising the approach on the far side. (Source: Cambridge University Collection of Air Photographs, BTQ 006, 2nd July 1975, DI2006_0038).
