A section of road, or trackway, depicted on OS County series (Merioneth. XXI.10-11 1888), running c.14km generally WNW-ESE between SH81723357 & SH83213330, that has, in the past, been identified as a part of the Roman road (RR68; Nprn303421) between Gaer Gai & Tomen-y-Mur: to the E of this section two alternate routes are suggested, to the NW its line is thought to be perpetuated in current boundary features as far as a further suggested segment at Moel-y-Slates (Nprn400555), 4.2km distant (see Nprn303421 for references): an alternative route runs along the S side of Lliw valley (see Nprn309144).
