A complex stone-walled fold, where seven cells are ranged on the NE & SW of an irregular, subrectangular central yard, 20m NNW-SSE; 34m NNW-SSE by 28m overall: depicted on OS County series 1st ed. (Caernarvon. VII.16 1889), then, with minor changes on the 3rd ed. (1914); the current (1994) structure, shows further alterations from the 1889 & 1914 plans, notably a 'funnel' approach from the NNE, between the fold structure & a c.10m length of wall on the NW.
