Junction of the Guilsford Arm & the Montgomeryshire Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal; a flight of two locks on the Montgomeryshire Branch, associated with a lock-keeper's cottage (the basement of which is reputedly haunted) & crossed by a bridge (Nprn34564): canal authorised 1794, opened 1797, abandoned 1936, officially closed 1944, re-opened following restoration, 1998.
