A 'D' shaped hillfort, occupying a prominent ridge end position overlooking Nant Cwmgerwyn 700m to the east. The hillfort is c.139m by 59m and is orientated NW-SE with an entrance on the southeast side. The defences are now significantly denuded, but the internal bank is still at least 6m in width and a counterscarp is visible on the eastern side. On the northwest side a 50m long outer earthwork can be traced following the contour. At least two linear earthworks are visible leading away from the entrance and suggest the former presence of a complex gateway arrangement.
