Ty-gwyn Mill is situated some 150m north-west of St David's Church (NPRN 400392). It is thought to have been constructed in the eighteenth century as a corn mill. It is depicted as 'Clase Mill' on first edition (1889) Ordnance Survey mapping, by which time it was disused. It is depicted as 'Clas Mill' on 1904 Ordnance Survey mapping.

The foundations of the building were reportedly exposed by excavation prior to 1978 and walls were visible in 1999. There is a millpond some 30m to the east. A predecessor of the modern road approaches the mill from the west and a holow way approcahes it from the north of the modern road and mill pond.
