Road tunnel carrying the A55 North Wales Expressway (nprn 403728) through Penmaen-bach headland. The tunnel, some 644 metres long, was opened in 1989 and carries westbound traffic; eastbound traffic still uses the 1932 tunnel (nprn 419882) to the north, although provision has been made for a new eastbound tunnel parallel to the 1989 one.
