Barracks and service block complex built c.1943 on Park Road to accommodate personnel serving at the Italian prisoner of war camp at Pool Park (nprn 404009), some 2? km to the south-west of Ruthin. The brick-built service block is of two-storeys and L-plan, and adjacent to the north east are two single storey huts used for accommodation. After the war the buildings were used as government offices until sold recently for commercial use.
