DisgrifiadPart of Castle Terrace, a sloping terrace of Georgian houses built in two stages. The upper section, including No. 44 is believed to be c.1805.
A single fronted house, of three stores and a cellar. The walls are roughcast and scored and painted, and the first and ground floor are lit by sash windows, the ground floor by a segmental bow window with small panes. There is a panelled door in a wooden case to the left.
