1. Coal yard set upon the banks of the Afon Senni.

2. The site was served by a leat, 170 metres long, bringing water from a semicircular weir and sluice on the Afon Senni at SO 9219628405. Two buildings appear to be served by the leat, but whether they were part of a woollen mill, or timber processing sheds, is not clear from the historic maps. The weir also supplied another leat on the south bank of the river, suggesting that the woollen mill may have had buildings on both sides of the river.
