DisgrifiadEarthwork remains of a shallow quarry cutting into the hillside and measuring some 26m deep by 28m wide. This may have provided building material for the large sheepcote (NPRN: 300571) situated just 55m to the west, which is though to date to the medieval period and associated with the monastic estate (Penardd grange) of the Cistercian Abbey of Strata Florida.
This feature was surveyed by RCAHMW in 2006 as part of a wider study of the Troed y Rhiw area (NPRN: 405578).
