Situated at the corner of a field 230m north of the farmstead of Troed y Rhiw are two rectangular pits measuring 2.4m by 1.75m and 4.2m by 1.3m. The most likely interpretation of these features is that they are root vegetable stores, similar to those preserved elsewhere within the area (NPRNs: 405552, 405553, 405554, 405555).

These stores were recorded by RCAHMW in 2006 as part of a wider study of the Troed y Rhiw area (NPRN: 405578).
