DisgrifiadThe remains of a quarry, 12m long by 11m wide, cut into the hillside at the southern edge of the former Allt Goch Wood (Coed Troed y Rhiw) (NPRN: 405566). It is likely that the quarry provided material for the nearby Cwm Du settlement (NPRN 406257), some 30m to the south-west and for which documentary evidence suggests was in occupation in the 17th century.
A detailed survey of this settlement was carried out by RCAHMW in 2006 as part of a wider study of the Troed y Rhiw area (NPRN: 405578).
