Soilmarks recorded in ploughed field on a prominent hill during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 27 May 2004. They show a grid like, celluar arrangement of stone spreads in the plough soil. These may be natural rock exposures, or the wall footings of a buried building. Given the regional context, there is the possibility that this is a Roman villa.
