This is a footbridge of cast iron girders, at higher track level on the north bank, with a ramp onto the tow path on the south bank. The ramp is constructed of large stone blocks for the margins, with corbelled blocks for handrail mounting, and a central walkway of cobbles. The supporting walls are of brick. The bridge has two horizontal rails.
