Class II Neolithic henge monument, comprising two semicircular ditches and two opposing entrances aligned north-east/south-west. Sited on rounded hill with good views in all directions. The henge was discovered during geophysical survey on the line of the Liquified Natual Gas pipeline built between Milford Haven and England during 2005 and 2006. The henge was identified by geophysics and confirmed during evaluation trenching. Partial excavation took place during summer 2006 by Cotswold Archaeology.

The excavations examined the henge interior, ditch terminals and a transverse section across the ditches. The ditches were of a considerable depth, excavated through rock, with evidence for fire-setting of the rock. One terminal had a tip of stone rubble within it, made when it was originally open. One stone resembled a potential standing stone which may have stood nearby prior to the construction of the henge; the possible remains of ruined stone settings, comprising ribble packed into pits, were excavated to the east of the henge. The latter stages of the excavation confirmed an oval setting of substantial, deep postholes within the henge confirming a ring of timbers.

The upper fills of the henge contained Roman pottery, and an undated cremation cemetary was also excavated just to the east of the henge (NPRN 405884).
