DisgrifiadCardiff Central Bus Station was situated in the forecourt of Cardiff General Railway Station (rebuilt 1932-4 by the Great Westen Railway; NPRN 34783) on the site of Temperance Town (NPRN 409133) demolished by Cardiff Corporation in 1937-8. Built in 1954, it was one of few integrated transport stations in Britain and was probably influenced by European transport planning. There were six covered ranks in the forecourt between the railway station (to the south) and the north-side brick-built office and former cafe (Asti's) range with semi-circular ends. The bus station was re-modelled in 2008 before being demolished in 2015.
