The line of a tramroad shown on the first edition OS map (1875) but not on the second edition (1897).

It follows a route westwards from a building at the Tennant Canal side, under the Neath & Brecon Railway to a junction with the Railway branch of the tramroad, then north across the road and up a double-tracked incline with a winding house at top alongside a building (a smithy?), and then north-east along the Graig to Gelliau Colliery.
The line continues further up Graig-y-gigfran to old coal levels at SN76800067 (NPRN 407302)
