DisgrifiadNewport's Town Dock was built in 1842, by contractors Rennie and Logan, and extended in 1858. It provided an outlet for products brought down the Monmouthshire Canal (nprn 85125). After closure, it was filled-in in 1932 and has subsequently been partially built over, although the entrance lock survives.
