Disgrifiad
This is a two-storey, stone rendered building which was formerly an inn and a brewery. The present building dates from the mid C19 although to the rear, it incorporates a lower ceilinged room and signs of a staircase from a smaller earlier structure. It also has some late Victorian features. The main brewery was in a separate building which has since been demolished. It has a Welsh slate roof and rendered end stacks. There is a plan of central entrance with stairs rising from central passage and main rooms on either side, with a cross passage to the rear and a rear outshut. It has a symmetrical 3 window range to the front of 10/10 pane sashes, 6/6 to centre, a central entrance doorway with margin glazed overlight and a panelled door. The side elevations also retain sash windows and the rear elevation has small windows above the outshut. The front entrance is reached through the garden wall doorway and there is a rear courtyard surrounded by a wall.

The interior retains much of its C19 fittings including fireplaces with brackets, panelled doors and door surrounds, panelled reveals and shutters, ceiling mouldings, the main staircase with stick balusters, decorative tread ends and a wreathed handrail. It is listed as a mainly unaltered mid C19 building of substantial proportions and for its local interest as a former brewery.
