Disgrifiad
Late medieval four-bayed hall house incorporated into a pair of nineteenth-century cottages. Evidence of the earlier structure exists at roof level where the complete medieval trusses still survive. NJR 15/10/2009

[Additional:] Survey by GAT 2009 (Report 829). Five smoke-blackened collar-beam trusses survive defining four bays with a single tier of cusped windbraces throughout the roof. The plan appears to be a two-bay hall (or hall and passage bay) partitioned between inner and outer end bays. Ty-eiddew was assessed for tree-ring dating by the Oxford Dendro Lab. but the roof timbers were rejected for sampling as fast grown (noted in Vernacular Architecture). R.F. Suggett/RCAHMW.
