Afan Lido, Aberavon, was an indoor swimming pool with outdoor facilities situated near the beach at Aberavon. Opened in 1965 by the Queen, it was an olympic sized pool with a 10 metre diving stage and had terraced seating for 950 people. It was destroyed by fire in December 2009.
