RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance in winter conditions with low light and snow revealed a likely upstanding round barrow some 435m south of the known example (NPRN 303663) and adjacent to a prehistoric earthwork enclosure discovered at the same time (NPRN 412724). The barrow is depicted on aerial photographs AP_2010_4219-20).
