Wayside station on the former Manchester & Milford Railway (nprn 91660) between Pencader Junction and Aberystwyth. This section of line opened in 1867 and the station in 1871. Llanilar Station closed in 1964 and the railway in 1964/5. The two platforms and a length of iron railing survive.
