Within the larger enclosure of Deer Park/Wooltack Point promontory fort (NPRN 95061) aerial reconnaissance has recorded earthworks of a field system, with a block of well-defined and regular fields in the south-west part of the promontory, along with unenclosed cultivation ridges in the northern part of the promontory. The regular forms of some of the boundaries would appear to show that they originated in the medieval or post medieval times, but a prehistoric origin cannot be ruled out.
