Wayside station on the former Cowbridge and Aberthaw Railway of 1892, from 1895 the Taff Vale Railway's Aberthaw Branch, which closed in 1932. The station closed in 1930 and although the station site is re-used for domestic and agricultural purposes, the station building and signal box (nprn 416037) survive in situ.
