Just to the NE and below the main processing works of the Cefn Coch site are the ore setttling tanks. Three of these tanks are stone lined with sluices and control works surviving (including timber fittings) and others adjacent a little downslope are possibly earlier, and are of rough revetted stone. The site is drained by a leat running off to the E. Overall the stone tanks are within an area about 12m x 11m.
