Blaenau Ffestiniog's library was situated in this Arts and Crafts-style building, now the Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association Club. The front elevation has gothic-arched doorways at each side, with timber framed extensions with oriel windows bracketed out above, under gable roofs. Between these is a balustraded balcony, with another gable set into the main, hipped and slated roof. The three ground floor windows at the front once lit the reading room, where newspapers were placed on steeply sloping desks, to be read whilst standing.
