Remains of 4 or 5 anti-glider trenches identified on rough common land at Penllegaer on the western edge of Swansea during Royal Commission winter aerial reconnaissance on 27th January 2012. The earthworks comprise central slot-trenches with lines of spoil tips along each side, to provide a defence against landing on this open common land. At least two trenches lie at the grid reference of this record, with at least two others to the north-east at SS 6077 9786.
