The Albert Edward Prince of Wales care home was purpose built in 1973 to the designs of the Percy Thomas Partnership and provides accommodation for up to 66 residents. The care home is owned by the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution. It was refurbished in 2000 and has extensive gardens and an adjoining bowling green.
