DisgrifiadThe site of Capel Cadoc is located some 360m north-north-east of Kidwelly Castle (NPRN 95633) and the two would have been contemporary. The chapel is mentioned in documents of around 1150, relating to the granting of land to the relatively newly established Benedictine priory (now St Mary's Church, NPRN 301847). No traces of the building remain, but the name element survives in nearby 'Llangadog' and 'Waungadog'. 'Cadock's Mill' is mentioned in documents of 1609 and 1779. Cadock's Mill is the modern Middle Mill (NPRN 24839), situated some 390m to the south-east of Capel Cadoc.
