At a place marked Carnedd Llechwedd Llyfn on the 1:10 000 scale O.S. map, is this small neatly constructed cairn built on what appears to be the remains of a larger earlier cairn, only the base of which survives. The recent cairn was probably built as an O.S. marker. It has existed at least since 1912, when the site was visited by a R.C.A.M. investigator. Dimensions: ca 1m diameter, 1.10m high. Elevation 625m above O.D.
