In 1935, the London-based firm of R.P Culley and Co. Ltd. submitted drawings to Swansea for the erection of a 'Bottling Store' in Cwmbach Road, Cockett. According to Ordnance Survey large-scale map and Aerofilms photographic evidence of 1940 and 1972 respectively, the building was completed as planned by the end of 1936; by 1972, the warehouse was in use by David Evans & Company as a furniture store. The western part of the building was two storeys high and measured 85 feet (25.91m) north to south by 110 feet (33.53m), with a reinforced concrete canopy 12 feet (3.66m) wide along the western wall; a covered yard 100 feet (30.48m) wide by 85 feet (25.91m), under a north-lit roof, adjoined on the east. The structure was demolished and built over by 1989.
